| I don't think calling him an asshole is necessarily the right thing to do, but you're right, that apology was pretty awful...3 weeks is very respectful for receiving a part. The subject line of this thread also needs to be changed to "good vendor" or the like. |

| Exactly what kind of apology should I make to the guy. He never emailed me once despite bitching that I never got the part. Only after I made it an issue in this forum did he offer to send out a replacement mirror. I apologized already.. You want me to beg him for forgiveness or something. The man has my apology, drop it! |

I don't know, but it looked to me like Rob did what he said he was going to do. It didn't look 'weak ass' to me. Remember, tristeel was the one who jumped into this whole thing as a third party and turned it into a mess. Rob was just concerned. Yes, he was jumping the gun, but he DID say he'd apologise once he got his mirror, which he did.
What more do you want? And yes, I've bought from Don a few times and would do so again.

| regardless, he jumped the gun and handled it completely wrong. hopefully this will be a lesson learned for him. he better not buy anything overseas. i purchased some parts overseas and it took NINE months to get them. |

Tram is right, I think things got heated when someone engaged in comments which turned this whole thing ugly. Too bad some of you want to keep festering about this.
