This is a truly sad looking Karmann Ghia! What would ever possess anyone to to this....and then attempt to get $9,000 for it?

My guess is the headlight area was heavily rusted as well as around the wheel arches. Someone fitted those headlights to cover the bad metal - same with the flares.

Pretty ugly.

My guess is they were smoking something and decided to modify the poor Ghia. Out from under the "haze", they quickly realized what they had done and put this "cluster f***" up for sale. d'oh!

the fender flares almost make up for the headlights. . . . almost. But almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Paint it metallic pink, add some white fur interior and brass candleabras, and this Ghia-Benz could have been the stable mate to Liberace's Volks-Royce
