they gonna be cool with dogs there? kinda wanna bring my collie. she loves ridin in the bus. might bring my oldest son too. but i have to be home before 5pm. got a special needs boy and his nurse leaves at 5. so ill have to bail about 3 ish.

i figured i would post up my bus so at least you know what im driving on sunday. shes not pretty...yet. that comes later. so far mechanichly sound and all the electrics except dash lights and rear window heat works. still now heat though. kinda a cold drive. sorry if the pics are big. im still getting used to this site.

if you look at the front bump, the guy that towed it here tore the right bumper mount completely off the bus. pissed me off too. messed up the front bump. it was pretty straight. not now. dont have the rear mounts for my rear bump. its almost perfect. dont have the overriders yet. in due time.

XXX was a good gathering. The morning started out slow - which makes for an easier parking spot find, but by 11am the place was bumpin with cars spilling over into the other side of the street.

Met drakonis. Stewart and I checked out his new ride. Zelten made it out with his bus as well. I was there with my son, checking out cars and having a burger. Annie came by a bit later and had a laugh or two. Met a new kid Tayler - gnarlybro3 on here. He had a pretty unique bus.

It was a 78 Kombi. Stripped down as far as ad ons like no chrome mirrors, no rear head liner, no rubber rear mat, fiber board rear panels, two front seat particians (like an early) and a BA6. Stipped down people mover is the best description, oh and it looked like it was Sage Green.

Then Stuarts Moms and Dad show up and had a last laugh.

It was a nice re-charge my VW batteries day! Nice to be able to walk, nice weather, good folks. Wink
