It was a good day to be a vw van owner... Lots of spotting:
1. Great late Syncro Westy, dark blue on N Mississippi by Por Que No. Nice Gary Lee rack on the back.
2. An Westy with giraffe spots, first time seeing tht on se hwy 99.
3. Best spotting, a white Doka ( not mine) stock looking except the tail lights. Drove next to him for a bit. Makes me want to get mine up and running ASAP!

I have already notified Ashley and Rose City Volkster's about this. After the event for Marcell, I wanted to extend the invite to all of those folks as we have such an awesome community.

I'm sorry and bummed to be missing the gathering on the 2nd. I'll be exploring my new living and working situation in Montana (and actually working on something before winter really settles in) but will be back in Portland early Dec.
Having said that, if any of you want to have a meet up between the 2nd but before the holiday sh*t storm, that would be cool.. I'd love to see you who I've already met, and meet new faces.
Sorry if this makes things confusing; I didn't want to start a separate thread. I know it's a busy time of year.. just an idea. I can also wait for the next one; I should still be around....

Sorry gang... I too am out this year. I will be knee deep in airplane training yet again.
We will be down for a gathering sometime in late Feb with the new ShootingFry in tow and the doka 16.

Michelle. We are an informal group of Vanagon owners that share our love for that platform, but, that being said, many if us own or have owned other VW's. please come join us. We are a diverse group and you will make quick friends I can assure you.
