I love seeing vans that are used for work! Post up pics if you got some.
A highroof LT ambulance spotted in Amsterdam
A window washing van I spotted in Seattle
A Syncro I spotted in Seattle. Not sure the story but both front doors were labled with Wildlife Conservation Society.
This Eurovan highroof my housemate spotted in Amsterdam a week ago. It was full of construction gear and had storage and table inside. Contractor probably sets his saw up under the awning and goes to work.

Like the idea. My van is used for work all the time hauling anything and everything. Will have to snap a shot next time. _________________ -cliff

They are an old set of DP Enduro wheels. Haven't been available for years. _________________ "Sometimes you have to build a box to think outside of." - Bruce (not Springsteen)

Carried 4 house jacks, 8 50lb footings, 6 sheets of 3/4 ply, 5 10ft 4x4's and a 16 foot 4x6 plus tools, today in the Westy. Does that count? Sorry, no picture, it was raining sideways. _________________ '89 2wd, 4spd, 2.1 Westfalia. |

We get the Syncro out on SAR missions pretty regularly, but rarely take photos. Here we are parked on a dam during a submerged vehicle recovery and investigation. Slow process with lots of time for photos.

I know the P.O. of this syncro, I think the WCC signs may be from the owner before him. Sold a couple years ago it seems to be awaiting some resoration work. If I remember I will ask him next time we're talkin vans. _________________ 1986+ Wolfsburg Weekender Pop-Top 2.3 WBX Manual Trans |

Bringing home a pallet of porcelain tile for my kitchen redo. The tile store couldn't believe it was all going in "that thing". It weighed over half a ton.

Our vans are used for our cycling event promotion business. They haul all of the supplies to the event site, we camp in them and they provide support to the riders while they're on the course. They are absolutely perfect vehicles for this sort of a thing.

Here's my Syncro doing, uhh, what I do! trucking another engine for another Vanagon.
This shelve/table unit I built to collapse because sometimes I need to haul two of my crates at once.
Wish I'd gotten a shot of the 4 old wbx's stacked on a pallet Mike and I put in there once, that was some load, but I still got 17mpg driving home from FC. _________________ Shop for unique Vanagon accessories at the Vanistan shop:

Hey Chris! That shelf unit rocks! You should add it to one of the interior storage unit threads.
I don't have any pictures of my work van, but I do construction/handyman work out of it. I haul hundreds of pounds of tools every day and get 18mpg. It is off the street for a month so that I can go through the front end and upgrade the brakes. I am also re-designing my tool boxs and shelving for the upcoming year. Paying for gas in my truck w/trailer really sucks at 11mpg.
