Here are the ones I have at the moment. I have already bought an OG paint, little to no rust driver door, located all the pop outs and one corner window, bought a $50 church key decklid sight unseen that came in the mail and it was Turkis, located a cut up bus in town and went to pick up the parts like bulk head, parcel tray, deluxe ash tray, turkis sun visors, dash switches, speedo and more all Turkis. It seems as though the Turkis gods want this 15 on the road. I have a few plans for the bulk head, thinking of a custom flip seat? I will post pics soon,oh, and I traded a fake split bug body for the 15 and a car trailer, rather have a crusty 15 any day over a fake split bug!

Any chance on m codes? Still trying to get more data to see if the 130 code mainly came to certain regions.

How uncommon is it to have only 2 pop-out windows?

I have a 1962 15 window vin #863597 purchased in Spokane , Wa over 10 years ago . Current condition is almost completed from a slow 7 year body and paint redo . Returning it to the original sealing wax color . Will add pics of m plate and bus shots soon

Thats one of the things I am trying to find out. For the 2 popout windows it is thought that in cold wet climates 2 popouts was the norm as in warm dry climates 6 was more common. By posting mcode data with delivery port info hopefully we can see if there is more truth than fiction.

My opinion is that it was not uncommon but now it probably is.
Why?
Because most of the Buses that have survived were in nice-weather areas where Buses had 6 pop-outs.
And it was a very common option so every some bad weather area Buses got 6 pop-outs.

My '63 15-Window from S. Washington has 2 pop-outs but it was stored inside so it survived.

This is my 15 deluxe I found. Watched it for over a year and was finally able to close the deal.It will be severial months before I can move it from my yard. Someone asked me to post this pic in this thread. No worries on the shadow I'm kinda a big guy. The bus turned out to be better than I first thought so I am excited to get it back on the road. I see alot of data plate info being posted so I will post this one....378 or 373-025-130/ul-251-mgr-PU-1031000

Nice...Original Mouse Grey 15. What color is it now? Any OG paint to be saved under what appears to be a repaint? Looking forward to seeing your progress getting it on the road again...

I haven't looked real hard at the paint. It looks to be mouse gray but really fadded.I don't think I will go back 100% original,but.. I don't want to do anything that would keep the bus from going back og one day. My thinking is to get the bus dry,no more leaks first. Then work on the rust.Doing the hole repair will be straight forward, Replace the section with good replacement parts. Opinions though, Under the bus and floors on the inside look to be very solid for the most part. I am wanting to either blast um clean or wire wheel um clean,Then??? A: seal the underside then undercoat, do the same with the interior floors. B: after cleaning put a good sealer primer and run it like that.
