Did some '75-'79 fuel injected Supers come equipped with an autostick? i have never seen one, only 4-speed manual. my company makes hose kits for various models and i am working on a vacuum hose kit for injected beetle. i notice that there are some plenums that are missing the branch for the decel valve. would this be an autostick car perhaps?

also, does anyone know if all '75-'79 injected engines had the electric EGR valve? all that i have seen have the valve.

Yes, 1975 was the last model year (I believe) that autostick was available. I have seen a few at the wreckers but they aren't common. The speedo on my '75 La Grande has an ATF light, even though my car is manual.

A little googling found this one - no pics of the engine, but it's got the fuel injected tag on the rear lid.

The Car of the Century book mentions that 98 autosticks were made in 1976 as well, but not as to which models/markets they were sold to.

A rare autostick La Grande. Nice example too!

one thing i am trying to ascertain is why this plenum has a single nipple instead of the usual T fitting.

normally the plenum has two branches, the large one is for the auxiliary air valve, the small for the decel valve.

sorry for the marginal photos, but you can still get the idea.
