Hi,

Looking for 4 Jalousie windows for my splitty. Hoping to find some that are somewhat close to home (west coast'ish), in good shape, and of course, that I do not have to give my first born for.

Sorry not much to trade at this time. Bus is bare bones at this time and came to me empty.

Thanks for any help you can send my way.
Happy Holidays!

Terri

I've got a few westy items I'd trade or get rid of if anyone needs them.

Wasted SO-33 table with edge banding, could remove the fer mica and place it on a piece of plywood, depends how desperate you are.

I have a table leg from an SO-42 or bay, I don't know, I drilled the rivet out and made a longer top section for SO-33. I still have the OG top portion.

I also have chandelier wiring from the engine compartment to the cabinet, no housing.

I just bought a walkthrough 66 SO-42. It is in badass shape except it is missing a few things. I need the rear facing jump seat, the door table, and the spice rack. I need the z-bed base panel with the door in it too. The one I have is terrible. I also need the fridge, but I know that is going to be impossible to find for a decent price. Is there anywhere to find templates/measurements to make this stuff yourself?

I never had a camper and just bought this one for my wife. I don't have any camper parts to trade, just bus parts (and not much of that left). I have a rear seat base out of a 66 deluxe that I would trade for the z-bed base with correct brackets for my year. I have other deluxe parts too and some sheet metal.

I am looking for a set of tent roof mounts for my '62 SO-22 STAT.
Bus is at the painter's and he will do the roof probably in a couple weeks. I don't care if they are six screw or four screw mounts, repro or original. I checked with CIP1 and they are out. Anyone have any to sell or know of another source for the repop ones??

I am starting to gather parts for the interior of my SO-42.

Does anyone have a source for the switch for the lights between the windows?
Also can you get just the frame portion that holds the individual glass panes? I have all my windows, but one of the lower aluminum frames has the tabs broken.

I also need measurements for the child cot up front. A good friend passed along some NOS material I need to have stitched up.

I am certain I will have to find other parts but these are what I have right now.

Thanks
Phillip

There are these switches in the classified right now, but I swear I bought those same switches a year or three ago for $10 a pair.

Some cot info in these thread. Joe was making some nice cots for a while but it doesn't look like he makes them any more. He could probably give you the measurements, though.

Phillip,
A forum search turns up answers to most of your questions. Here is a thread on making cot canvases but I don't see the measurements. The photos are good in that they show you how to detail it.
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=413074&highlight=cot+pattern
I can help you on the measurements for the cot if needed. Send me a PM.

Light switch info: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=351762&highlight=bedlamp

Here are some people selling them right now.

Glass holders are here, $10 a pair brand new

http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Jalousie_Glass_Holder_157_p/vts-389.htm

That is the place to buy other parts as well as the little gray silicone retainer discs that keep each pane in the holders.

Thanks sorry I searched and did not see any measurement info and I may have just missed the switches in the search. Thanks for the leads.

If anyone has one, please contact me.

Thanks.

I need the rear bottom curtain rod and one cargo door curtain rod for a 67 SO-42. I don't have any split window stuff to trade but do have some bay window stuff if anyone needs anything:

Complete walk thru panels/pads (top/sides) and strip in OG black vinyl.
Complete 68 only ignition/door handles/cargo handle/rear handle with OG keys (all matching).
Nice Walk thru spare tire cover.
Complete set of deluxe trim for 68-71 bay.

Thanks

Grabbed an OG cot and a stash of switches so if anyone needs the same switches I can pass them on (I bought several). Thanks for the info. Now on to looking for the rest of the missing parts.

Looking for a few original SO-42 items:

1--Cushion that sits between the jump-seat and ice box
2--Power receptacle (rear external power inlet)
3--Internal power plug receptacle (wall-plug) setup (fits into driver-side panel near the jump-seat)

Cheers!

Search Leviton 4937 outdoor power outlet for your #2, I've seen them anywhere from $6-$20. Here's amazons:
