There was a thread I ran across a couple of weeks back where someone was performing a very nicely done Westy conversion. I searched quickly but didn't find it for you - sorry. As for the folding bench, I was offered one free from Craigslist (condition supposedly good). Others I've seen around $300. The forum experts may chime in shortly. Have fun with your adventure! |

Put a westy int. in my syncro tin top. Came out of a 1985, Paid $500 for it but then went out and got a TF49 for another $500. Now the pop top is another story. _________________ 1987 syncro westy tin top sun roof , GW2.3, rear locker, decoupler, Gary Lee tire rack & winch mount, lift, south african grill, big brakes , rhein alloy ,15 BFG AT, Fiamma 10 foot awning ,140 watt rear 85 watt front solar , mppt, truckfridge, automatic fire extinguishing system, tencent oil cooler, And a RMW SS exhaust! - 1971 bug convertible 1776 engine- 2010 Subaru turbo - 1993 Toyota 4x4 truck - 1999 Harley 95 CI, big bore, Andrews cams . Here's my $500 interior + my $500 TF 49 , it came out of a 85, Nacho's old interior. This is a tin top, I like my racks to much to put a pop top on! _________________ 1987 syncro westy tin top sun roof , GW2.3, rear locker, decoupler, Gary Lee tire rack & winch mount, lift, south african grill, big brakes , rhein alloy ,15 BFG AT, Fiamma 10 foot awning ,140 watt rear 85 watt front solar , mppt, truckfridge, automatic fire extinguishing system, tencent oil cooler, And a RMW SS exhaust! - 1971 bug convertible 1776 engine- 2010 Subaru turbo - 1993 Toyota 4x4 truck - 1999 Harley 95 CI, big bore, Andrews cams .
