Door handle

My 77 Westy started something new today......

I pulled the button on the outside handle to open the door and it stayed in (and did not open the door). I gently pried the button back to where it belong and now it won't pull in, or do anything. Any idea what to do here?

Take the handle off, inspect it, clean, oil, or replace it if necessary ( swapping lock cylinders if you do!) Jeremy

And we have a broken button.......

New handle is on the way. Thanks for the swap lock cylinder tip, I probably wouldn't have thought of that until I had the new one back in :-)
