Thanks Exclamation The blank plate is a resin copy not a drilled original (that would be a waste) and yes it hoids a 12v outlet and the "panic button" is the horn Wink I can't run the horn wire up the steering as I have a Creative Engineering rack fitted:
http://www.creative-engineering.com/index.php?page...;Itemid=26

No turbo or flux capacitor Laughing just this:

Thx Type 241 - I know about this door, but think the price is too steep for an "original paint" door that actually had work done and a partial respray (lower left corner)
… am I being too cheap ?

I don't think so but how much was the other one? Maybe it will even out if the other one was dirt cheap...

i have been eyeballing that ps door as well as mine has some repaint on it and thought it was a bit steep due to the "light dents". I have one in my basement as a spare and i am not happy with that one either. I am hoping that my patience pays off. you can see the reapaint towards the front of the door and also the lead body repair by the top hinge of the ps door.

What color were the wheels originally, Mango or white to match the bumper? I thought they were supposed to be white, but I've seen a few pics with Mango and think I heard that from someone too....

Nice, thanks! I had a feeling I should have just pm'd you thinking it'd probably be you to come up with the answer! I should've checked there before posting too... Razz

Doing some temporary painting until I get a properly matched paint, so I'm gonna paint the rims the same white I used for the bumper. It's not a perfect match, but its close, and will do for now... Getting a mango paint match next month to do the nose and body touch-ups... The Krylon Avacado is too bright, but still looks a lot better than it did before.

Just finished painting on my lunch break:

I think it was a Standard bus color only.

For the wheels and bumpers you can use Krylon, Dover White.
For the Mango, do not make the mistake to get a match to the original. The best is to take a exterior body part (gas lid, engine lid, rear hatch, cargo door etc.) to a paint matcher who does it by eye. I know an incredible guy in Los Angeles who does it - pm me if you need the contact (I have done quite a few paint matches with him).

Hope this helps!
