Nice buggy and great story. Riding a bicycle to Ojai that a story in itself.

Yes the later models had a spoiler in the rear, like the california clipper the clipper is a copy. |

Got it running.
Tore it down to the bare pan.
Repaired and painted pan.

Man that looks cool! I really like the shot of the day you brought it home. It looks really rugged with the centerlines and beefy rubber on them. Nice job on the chassis, super clean! |

Wheels are EMPI race trim 15x6.5 and 15x4, tires are Firestone Destination A/T front 205/75R15 rear 30x9.50R15. The Centerlines belonged to the previous owner. |

Rolling pan is done now on to the body.
I screwed the body to the saw horses and would move it outside to work on.
Final prep before paint.

I posted a picture of the decal on my buggy these are the other two that my dad used the first one would have been on most of the dune buggies and the other on the baja bug kits.
