I bought this one on a swapmeet, but i don't now at wich car they are used.

Looking at the 1U, would indicate being made Jan 1963. Do you have a pic of the top, where the wires attach to it.

Yes, I am not familiar with TK6A7 as VW so I would have to go with the above or possibly other non-VW usages.
