Single Cab "Appreciation" Day!

ATTENTION ALL SAN DIEGO SINGLE CABS!!!! Shocked

In "appreciation" of all the good work single cab trucks can do, there will be an event next weekend, Feb. 2nd & 3rd!!!! I'll call it "Show How Good Your Single Cab Can Do The Work" Event!!! Anxious

The "competiton" for bragging rights will consist of loading your single cab with all sorts of crap from my garage at the present location in Clairmont Mesa, a "driving course" through San Diego over the I-805 to the 94 and on to La Mesa, and unloading at the Garage Mahal!!! Razz

All participants will be entitled to free pizza and beer! Bragging rights will have to be decided amongst yourselves! Cool

I guess this event should be open to the lesser capacity cousins, the double cabs! Think

Thanx to all that showed up and did put their time and effort participating in this event. Yes, it was an event alright!!! All in all almost 90% is moved/transferred to the "new" site. The left 10% is about the dirtiest as will be cleaning up the site! Shocked

For those who showed and helped, a limited lifetime membership into the Garage Mahal repair and service shop has been earned. Though Slayer has used up a bit of his credit with that first breakdown/repair!!! Rolling Eyes

There will be, of course, a Garage Mahal "warming party" prolly around March. All are invited, those who helped as well as those who just couldn't make it. "Normally" for a warming party like this people usually bring an "offering" for the new place. However, since I have to get rid of plenty of stuff, specially house related going from a 4 bedroom to just 2, please do not feel compelled to bring anything!!! If you feel you must, a simple gift card or beer will do best. Thank you! Cool

The Bug was the first to enter the Garage Mahal followed by the Plump Truck.

Then the Dormy & trailer finally made it in!

Man, that Plump Truck sure looks kool! Cool

The Garage Mahal's fridge is starting to take shape! Very Happy
