This shows the front of van after I removed the damaged nose when I T-boned a Datsun that was running a red light in San Francisco.

Test fitting a nose from a 86' onto my 90' Syncro

Below, same Vanagon on the Alaska Highway north of Summit Lake, BC, Canada in early August 2003.

Below, the ol' '83 Air-cool Vanagon is basically semi-retired after 28 years of service to me, including 7 trips to Alaska! (winter of 2010 in Kentucky)
