I searched five minutes... the 'scoop' in hood suggests to me that you look at a Spoiler buggy from Desert Fox.

People Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Looked at the buggy... Looked so much better in the pictures... some parts now off the buggy, said windshield needed to be replaced. I could hardly see a crack in the photo, it was SMASHED. Roll bar did not fit and did not have any mounts in front... so on and so on... fug! For a $1,000 and not running I thought no big deal, get it too 700-800, and I have a motor for it... honestly would not take it for 100... so disappointed and that's 40 min of my time lost for ever Laughing

A $ 1000.00 buggy is not much of a buggy to start with. Don't expect much if that is your spending goal.

Last I checked, a decent body, shortened pan with suspension and maybe some break parts was worth $1000.

I gave $700 for a body and roller pan... Needed engine, seats, wiring, windshield, paint....

$1000 if most everything is there ( less engine) and body needs little work and floor pans are decent is not a bad deal...

The point being I wasn't looking for another project (have 2 already not counting 2 rooms in the house under attack) It looked like a great deal in the photos and I was amped up to see it (me and so many others according to the seller) The previous 2 people that saw right before me also walked away.

It was the fact the pictures did not match what I saw. It did not help it had a flat tire and was shoved up against the side of the house either so I couldn't walk around it. Unlike the pictures in the ad taken at another place before the buyer moved here.
