When I saw the DC, I assumed it meant Double Cab. _________________ Wanted : January '57 Palm Green Sand Green Bus Parts - Middle and Rear Seat Frames - flat back. I have original seat covers but would consider covered frames.

Geoff, it looks like I'm not the only one who regularly searches "vanagon" on dc.craigslist.org!
I've been looking for a jump seat locally for a while and was excited to see this ad pop up late last week. I checked the jump seats out on Sunday and bought one for my Westy, pretty good condition with some wear and needs a little bit of cleaning. Nice older gentleman is selling them, said they were from a early Syncro he used to have. He only has one left for sale now. _________________ '90 Westy |

Just so you guys looking for seats for their Westy. Van-cafe
sells just the pass side bracket if you can only find a jump seat.
The seats are the same side/side. _________________ Bill M

Those are the tweed seats as seen on non-GL vans. Typically 90-91 "price leaders" in VW's line-up.
With the exception of the less durable upholstery, they are virtually identical to the Carat & Wolfburg jumpseats. _________________ BenT |

Yeah I thought about buying the second one and flipping it but I figure its better left as a "find" for someone to buy at a reasonable price and get good use out of (plus I don't have the storage space for two). It didn't come with the passenger side bracket, so BillM thanks for passing along the van-cafe link. And ha, the van-cafe writeup is spot on...I bought this seat on craigslist from a guy who had it for stashed in his attic for years and will be using it so the kid has more elbow room! _________________ '90 Westy |
