Something I've been thinking about recently is a steering damper, or in my case, lack thereof. There was no place to mount a steering damper anywhere on my tie rods, like stock, or my Latest Rage rack and pinion, which will soon be replaced with a Saco unit. My question is for those of you with aftermarket steering setups: what have you done about a steering damper?

My friend Eric has one on his baja. He used u clamps to the tie rod and to the cage on the other end. I believe it's a Fox unit. Of course he has power steering and wanted to stiffen things up a bit, you can steer that car with one finger.

I would image something like this could be modified to fit just about any type of suspension.
