Anyone know of the best place to get front and rear drums for a Thing for the best price? Or anyone have some good used ones they want to sell me? If so send me a PM, thanks.

whatever you do, find German ones. I have some bus buddies that have broken brazilian/mexican drums.

brake parts are no place to cheap out on.

i just bought some German drums new in box from a guy. I found them new somewhere to do a price check. i think they were 125 each for rears. German.

it may have been CIP1, not sure though

Sometimes easier said than done, when I was stationed over in Germany in the early 80s, I went to the local VW dealer, and bought all new drums for my 73, and they didn't have any in stock, said they had to get them from the warehouse and they would be in the following day. Went back the following day and picked them up, they were embossed made in Brazil.

Overheard on 27 June 07, one lady to another when they saw my Harli in a parking lot at West Point, "maybe he found it on the clearance aisle at the Volkswagen dealer"
