Hello, I was wondering if anyone would know the size (im guessing in MM?) of the bolt that goes into the seat belt holes on my thing as well as the length ? Im putting in new seat belts and need to but the correct bolt size.....Thanks for your time Dave |

m10 x 1.0, it is fine thread. seatbelt fasteners are also very hard, usually grade 10.9 or better. i think it is about 26mm long. _________________ SL |

Dave,
Usually when you buy new seat belts, they come with their own hardware, bolts, washers,etc. The info that Scott is pretty acurated. |

The original Seat belt bolts have the thread as Scott said but they also have a larger smooth shaft that allows the seat belt to rotate. They are a very hrad bolt ( grade 10+) that will be nearly impossible to replace other than the original part. I would contact Mike Basso at Things Unlimited as he will sell you the correct parts for a fair price. If he is unable to help you I have some spare seat belt bolts that will solve your problem. I highly reccomend you use only the actual part. K-mann |
