Saw these cups and a saucer for sale yesterday at Techno Classica in Essen

Are they original (price tag of 1150 EUR indicates they are)? Anyone seen these before and know more about them, like where they are from and where they were used?

BTW I am not interested in buying them (besides the outrageous price they look really hideous Twisted Evil ) just curious about the story.

Would love to be able to see the makers marks on the bottom of the cup and saucer.

No, but the makers markings usually are a good indication of the era when the cup was made.
My initial reaction when I saw it, is that the style of the cup is not that old, and the handle on the cup looks quite thick. Porcelain from that era is usually much finer.

But, it is not possible to make any conclusions from those photos.
