is there a remedy to make a dual carb engine warm up and idle? if I touch the gas it pops and cracks, spits and splutters for 5 minutes. even on a 70 degree day. then it does ok.

Rough idle is normal during cold start. Even the popping is normal till it warms up. If it doesnt go away then you need to synch your linkage and or retune af.mixtures. I isually st in the car amd give it pedal for a.minute at 1500 before i pull out of tge garage.
