Most aftermarket radios are very similar in their wiring and easy to install, used OEM ones from various manufactures a lot less so, but you really need the wiring recommendations that came with the radio to know that you are doing it right.
One of the most important things is to properly fuse any wires hooked into the original wiring system. You don't want to burn up your wiring harness if you hook things up wrong, sadly this happens all to often. |

This is what really excites me about Samba! Moderators answering questions I have yet to ask but most likely will. Diagrams that I have wondered about the existence of posted for me
I only know that there is no other place like this to support me and my need to find solutions. This site is by far the most user friendly and accessible portal I have ever encountered or experienced in my life.
Tcash, Everett, Brian, MrBreeze, Thank you for being here!
Grawesome! (Doesn't sound very catchy but it has a ring to it!) _________________ 73 Camper Tin Top/Type 4 1.8 engine, Single progressive EMPI carb, electronic ignition SVDA W/ Vacuum.
Really appreciate what Everett has done here. Almost like he hand picked some of you. I am very thankful for all the help I get here. |

Electrical: Found on a barely-used 38-amp regulator from a '69 bus.
