Was wondering if anyone has ever done a removable apron for a Karmann Ghia. I want to do this to my '63 and don't want to cut it and find out I did it wrong. Links? Suggestions?

Pics from my Gallery as done on a 1957 Ghia. They're all very similar.

Click each link to read the description for the associated photo.

FYI - I have a lot of pictures in my Gallery related to the effective means of removing various sheet metal panels.

I made mine a little different. I kept the bottom fixed so there is no distortion and made the top removable.

Getting ready to do this on my 69 Ghia
Should make for a 5-10 min engine removal time.
