Where do you guy over there who "drive on the wrong side of the road" find your skid guards?!?!?! Seems like several syncros in the UK seem to have them; don't recall seeing them here in the states.
I already got my shirt so now I want a bash guard. _________________ previous:

Got mine from here http://syncro-services.com/ (Germany) listed as front protector. They don't always have them on the webshop though, best to email them. They also do a nice one for the gearbox..
Brickwerks in the uk also sell a similar one _________________ 16" syncro multivan pop top AHU TDI

Is this the pattern the euro-spec syncros have or is "G"(ranny) a gag?
I noticed you had that on in a recent vid... kinda reminded me of Fifth Gear's logo, but still cool.

Zippy,
The gear shift is what all Euro spec Syncros have and the "G" gear is the low range one. What do you guys have?
The Morocco trip will be starting in December and take us until late January so I can't wait for that one. We are desperately trying to learn as much as we can and we are bouncing ideas off each other during every video we make now ready to make the best one we can from that trip. Its going to be epic but hard to go without our long one month summer trip we usually have each year. I really hope you guys will like this next video we have made, I am pretty exited about sharing it.

Our North American Vans substitute the letter L (low) for the letter G (gelande)
VW could haves saved some money by just putting an image of a turtle in that space. Maybe you can print that up on the next run of shirts. _________________ 1988 Vanagon

I had to look that one up:
From German Gelände (“terrain”)
Yup, mine has (L)agger _________________ previous:

Ah, too bad it's so far out... I almost want to watch your video as much as you to take the trip!
In the meantime, you should get some of us guys over on this side of the pond to shoot some installments for CVC. I have the van and the desire to explore, just no know-how to shoot videos... that and I can't be filmed due to my part in the witness protection program, but I've already said too much.
(ok, I hate being on camera)
Hey, one of your installments should be how to film in the style of 'Jed Speilberg'. _________________ previous:

Moved to Buyer and Seller area as this was originally asking for feedback and now has turned into a company discussion and announcements of new products and inventory. |
