I started slightly jealous with envy. Now I'm starting to down right hate you, really. I know skill and patience go hand in hand. But me having neither makes me craaaaaazzzzy.
Joking.. I just started welding with shielding gas. That is opposed to flux core and burn city! So my mig work isn't turning out so bad after all. I want to learn to TIG at some point.. wish I could apprentice at your shoppe
Nice work! |
Thank you , I am looking for a helper ! See if there is a welding class at a local JR collage in your area, Tell teacher you just want to tig weld thin sheet metal. Good place to start. Send me pictures and I will help you along. _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Just want to say thanks from GAB-FAB for any purchase!! |

Thanks, This craft did not always start out like this, I was a pretty rough bodyman when I was 16-17 years old !! LOL. I'm 50 and was lucky to have worked and meet some of the people I have. Kinda why I like teaching, To see people pick this stuff up is kinda cool. _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Needed some clearance clarence ! Valve cover hit body, Wide motor. Plus car got lightly bumped in rear some time in life, So with my friction jack and bracket I made ,Put a little tension on it. Then unfold'd bottom flange on bumper bracket area and returned edge about 3/8 higher. _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Hey Danny,
You are getting quite the reputation down here is So Cal. I was at the DKP meet and there was a car that had the double scoop rear deck lid. I heard several people ask if Danny made it |

Fix'n a little flaw from factory, Driver's side fender's have a weird bump or high spot on bottom of fender. The car is going to have T-bars and I wanted fender to apron alighnment as nice as I could . So I unrolled edge and staighten out the bottom line and rerolled edge. Also I will be run'n a vixon file over panel surface's to find and high/low spots and any ding's from being in storage 8 years. Its get'n close to primer. _________________ Shipping is NOT included in any of my products or parts. Just want to say thanks from GAB-FAB for any purchase!! |
