What size motor did they have in it? It must take a massive motor to push that thing along.

I too have major reservations about the excessively small ground clearance, which is wholly inappropriate for typical road conditions.

I would have LOVED to had gotten a hold of it before it got butchered. I see a funny thing in one of the photos it looks like it has a swing axle under it and from what I see of the frame it came that way unless thats more butchery.

Well yes slamwerks build the drive trains and restored the underneath, but the front cab was still unrestored og paint. And so it got restored before it got green.

And bigbore, I believe the swing axle is a mod, but not 100% sure...

There is an article about this build in the Jan. 2013 issue of Volks World Camper & Bus magazine. It was custom built from an old 68 and a couple of campers. It does use a splitty rear frame. I do like the new color, but I still like the 70's look it used to have.
