it's just like when the customer comes in, throws a PCM on the counter. Ask us to reprogram it, because his engine doesn't turn over Rolling Eyes .

Or the best one was when I was doing a recall on a f150, the guy demanded that i give him a free oil change, along with a free transmission service. While the car was in the air he came over and took a wrench out of my box and drained the oil onto the floor. People are such dicks Rolling Eyes

Thats where I draw the line. Customers in my service bay are bad enough but when you touch my tools or toolbox,It's game on. That's when we go to the lowest drawer,......The one that has the S&W model 10 (38 caliber). YES I only worked for independants, YES I had a loaded gun at work at all times and YES I only ever showed it to a piece of shit boss who didn't realize ,"what time it was".........

Confused please, go screw it up even worse than it is for the rest of us Applause

yea, customers in the work area (unless you are showing them something) has got to be the worse thing ever. now, they think they have an 'in' with you...like feeding a stray.

if i ever had a customer dump oil on my floor, i would have gone bullshit.. i don't care, fire me, but if you think for one minute you can come in my house and disrespect me, think again.

no i just did something even better, I was on lunch while this happened. A lot porter came in a hurry to tell me what was going on, I simply walked over took back my wrench. put all of my tools in my box locked my box. put his car in the highest position on the lift, unplugged the lift disconnected the the wire for the locks. Walked in my boss's office and told him I am taking two days off, and i don't care if you fire me or not. A simple tune up costs the guy a rental car for 2 days Twisted Evil .

Since my dealership is the closest to all theme parks all the tourist come in and act like assholes because they want free shit. That they don't want to pay when they are on vacation :2gunfire: . We constantly have cheap ass people come in all the time. The worst is when you tell people that they need a $300 tune up(5.4 v8 engines spark plugs break in the head) and it's 1 hr to remove each broken plug on top of that .

And please don't screw up the guns for us any more than it is currently. you know how much i have to pay for ammo, for my handguns along with my AR-15. It's out of this world $25 a box Shocked

BACK in 1976 I was working at an independent VW shop we had installed a new clutch in a customers 62 beetle, a sweet young 18 year old girl. Next day she comes in with her then boyfriend who says we did not replace the clutch because the transmission was never removed. My boss tries to explain that with a VW just the motor comes out. Well he is having none of it, and the poor girl is in tears at this point. Finally my boss has me put the car on the lift and pull the motor. He shows him the new clutch and release bearing. He then tells him to get the car and motor out of his shop. She dumped the guy and I ended up dating her for a while. Go figure?
