We have been testing it at work for several months. Actually the ultra-Everdry brand of it. Amazing stuff yes...an undercoating...no.
It is not a perfect barrier....meaning you could never get full coverage on any surface unless that surface is...perfect.
It also does not last, is susceptible to attack and neutralization by various chemicals and PH changes.
Its also well over $100 per gallon and requires numerous coats and you have no way of knowing the coat is complete or checking the quality of the coat. It has to be coated in two parts. The first coat attacks some plastics and rubbers (you should see the MSDS sheet. Very flammable and toxic).
The first coat (primer coat) must apply perfectly, have uniform distribution and proper chalking and appearance....and that's hard to accomplish even on a machined surface.......or you have no adhesion for the second surface....and in areas its not perfect....it does not repel.
On machine rollers transporting water based materials....our best tests show loss of repellant ability within hours in spots and days for whole areas. The manufacturer chalks it up to improper priming or primercoat drying. If its the least bit humid while the prime coat is drying....the product may never work properly. Ray |

Ummm.... that is undercoating with a new lable and a marked up price to fool the foolable, betcha rubberized undercoating is a whole lot less than $10 a can at your local FLAPS. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
