I have a shop, tools, hot shower, dinner, wine, beds, conversation, etc... for any listmember. Sadly, I sold my house in the mountains, so if you insist on sleeping in your ride, you will be parked in a condo parking lot. I'm also 1.5 miles from downtown Durango, and have several bikes that can be ridden into town.......and yes, this information is also listed in the Rescue Squad site.

I have a 10 acre place about 4.5 miles from IU yet far enough out that it seems secluded with sheep, dogs, ducks, chickens and other birds running all about. I have some tools and an indoor place to work on something if needed. I also know a decent VW mechanic in town if it comes to that.
The web page for my place though it has not been updated lately:

I live in Chicago (60657 zip), in a really good safe area right in the city 1/2 a mile from Wrigley field. I don't have a parking space at my home, but I do have a ton of parking passes that let you park anywhere on the street you can find a space within like .25 - .5 miles. I do have to pay for each pass so it would be cool if you could pay 50 cents a night, but not required.
My wife is really uncomfortable with letting people in our place, so sorry no showers/bathroom/bed, but we do have a YMCA and Lake Michigan for showers and a insane amount of stores/shops/places to eat (all walking distance) for you to blow it up in their bathroom.
email is best since I'm not always logged in (big lurker) so your PMs might go unanswered. |
