Just wanted to say, what an awesome campout/show! It was my first year, got to fly out and spend it with my Dad and his westy. I'll be trying to make it next year.
Nothing better than the wake up call from the canadian butt trumpet! I think everyone heard that thing! |

There was a seller at this show wearing a T Shirt with this logo on it. When I went to find him to see if he was selling them or if he knew where to get them he was gone. Anyone ever seen a shirt with this on it for sale?

Translation of Ersatz in English
Ersatz means 'substituting for, and typically inferior in quality to', ... or as a part in compound nouns such as Ersatzteile (spare parts) _________________ The Older the Better!

We are still recovering, today I will finally finish empting out the Highroof. I was in the show section for more than normal awaiting the exchange of the best buy of the weekend and it seemed a bit smaller but not that bad. There seemed to be more people than in the past. We bought more than we have in the past few years and there was some great deals out there.
Thanks once again to Chuck and crew for another great show |

I'm just getting caught up too. Litchfield was great this year, terrific weather, lots of people camping and some good swap deals for sure. We forgot about the group picture, as usual, but everyone seemed to have a good time. The food spread on Sat. was terrific and much appreciated after a long day on the road in an old VW.
What Litchfield lacks, in my opinion, and from talking to people at my swap space is NEW parts vendors. We used to get a few for this show, but now none. I always have a new parts 'need list' when I go to a big show and the swap meet parts don't always fill it. I really wish this show would attract at least one regular new parts vendor.
And now for some pictures, seeing as how we missed Dubstar this year I'll try to fill in for him.
Camping fun:
Schwing keeping Casey away from the Flanders Bug Push trophy we won with his oval.
The Vermonters
Two nice Canadian buses
My swap spot. Nice to be able to set up Sat. night, but the heavy action was over in the swap field on Sun.
Show buses.
John Hamill checking out Chris Tobey's '54 barndoor bus.

In this context it'd mean "Original/OEM Replacement Parts" |
