this is my second bug engine ive ever built.but i use to build space shuttles so it was pretty easy,lololol....

brand new everything
a bubble top aluminum case
cb 84mm crank
cb 5.5" h-beam rods
aa 94mm pistons and cylinders
engle fk-44 and lifters
cb straight cut cam gears
cb chromoly pushrods
DRD modified L_7 heads (44x37.5)
cb 1.4 rockers
weber 48 ida's
kennedy stage 3 clutch
pertronix electronic 009 distributors
pertronix flame thrower coil
9.6 c/r
i just hope its fast..let me know what you think

The DRD L6 heads are all you need for the FK-44. If you want the L7 heads then get the FK-45 cam.

Stage3 P/P is way, way too big and all your going to do is break your transaxle. A stage 1 and copperhead or Centerforce disc is all you need.

What do you mean it won't move quickly? Selling it quickly or not quicknon the road? .......I'm already driving it and it runs perfectly fast
