Over 1000 liters of beer, some cider and some other stuff. Note mine, it belongs to the student pub were i volunteer, but due to some blocked roads the truck couldn't get there so we had to load it in my syncro for the last bit. Wee had some good fun stuffing all that in there _________________ 1990 syncro 1.6TD "Smily"

Get a Syncro. You'll be drinking before you know it. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |

The last time I was on Maui, I had dinner with the owner of the Kona Brewing Company.
He wanted me to build them a Syncro to take to events.
Why I didn't follow through on that project is beyond me.

Worth 90,000 to 100,000 kroner, yea?!?!
When people ask "what should I bring on my road trip?" and people respond "twice the money and half the clothes!" I've always thought that was a good answer, but I now realize that "1000 liters of beer" is a better answer.
And this spring I set up a desperate beer fridge in my van, I fit 60 beers in it, I felt like a boss, but after seeing this.... _________________

Well, I got 4 local micros and 2 bottles of some Belgium sample my wifey picked up, a box'wine, and a pint of Jameson about to accompany us on our weekend trip. 4 beers to find a campsite, some wine for dinner, MAYBE night cap round the candelabra (fires are a no no right now).
2 post ride mountain bike beers and the rest 'o the box at a bbq tomorrow. Not nearly as impressive as the OP but at least I get to drink it.
Have a nice weekend folks! _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

Actually you are thinking of Cisco Brewing out of Nantucket MA. Also...Cape Ann Brewing has one too.
BTW...the original poster of this thread. Might I suggest taking a ratchet strap and strapping them together. MUCH less likely to fly around in a sudden stop or turn. Trust me...I do that kind of keg moving for a living. I work for a brewery out of San Diego. |
