Glad you made the correct decision. It wouldn't be camping without the "Mayor" holding court. _________________ Glenn

I'm here and not a sole on the camping field.
The grass was not cut so it's a bit tall. But the ground is dry and no mud. _________________ Glenn

Up in the air if I am going to go with my 52 Split, last year was kinda weak. Anyone from NY NJ want to convoy? We could meet at my shop in Congers NY or just meet on 84E or something.
We take a nice scenic route to get there and bypass any traffic or problematic roads. Once we get to 84E it is smooth sailing.
Just throwing it out there,

Home, had a great day. Arrived last last night, and almost immediately went to bed. Since I was SHOT from work. It was great to get Meia, my newish puppy out for her first VW camping adventure. Even had a nice convo with someone who's mad at me There was definitely fewer cars than years past, and camping was almost nil with maybe 9 "campers" in attendance.
Over all though, it really was a beautiful day, with some great cars.
Thanks Chuck for 22 years of Terryville!
In all the action, I didn't take even ONE picture of my bus!
If anyone happened to snap a pic (Sage Green Westy with the Roo bars and the DVG tire cover) please post it or shoot it over to me!
Thanks! _________________ Mike

Another great show by Chuck and crew. Big Blue made it there and back on it's own with no real problems. Actually 84 seemed light for us so we did not get too many people sad being stuck behind us. |

The camping was smaller then years past but I directly blame it on the $15 camping fee and continuing bathroom situation.
The show itself was great and that's definitely the most parts vendors I've seen at Terryville in years. Scored a very clean front bumper and rear headbanger cabinet
I have camping plans for the weekend of Flanders already but I hope to see everyone at TransporterFest (Is it that time of year already? Where'd the summer go!!) _________________ '73 Transporter 1.7L Dual Carb

I thought the camping was great, we had a descent group of people around the fire, with descent music courtesy of Allentown Nick, and no one got out of control.
The show was alright I guess, but I only left my swap space once to walk the swap meet. |

skills, did you drive your bus down with its new engine? If so, how is it running? I was there as spectator and would;'ve liked to have seen it in person.

ran killer! i am having an odd hard miss for no good reason, i think it is ignition related, but beyond that, it ran 70+ all the way home....well, all the way till we got behind clay and mary _________________
