YES.

I mean JES!!!

I have a truck if you need help transporting your bug if someone lends you a trailer.

I got this bad-ass folding chair you can see while I sit in it and supervise the build. Let me know...

I also have a cooler that I will fill with beer that I will drink while I sit next to Arod and supervise.

Oye oye, afloja acere. Que si se entera los otros, se nos jode el piquete...

For referrence, I quoted myself from the Phatchick forum of our club's deadsite. Cool

These will be going into the Dormy but then the juans they be replacing will be installed on the Plump Truck to replace the wandering drums. Had this set for quite a long time and finally decided to just get'R'don! The calipers, hubs, spindles and backing plates are powder coated. Got new seals as well as new FAGs (roller bearings) and new pads. Opted on just getting the right tool for the right job so instead of "hammering" the seats in place, I will get a hydraulic shop press. That also will require the proper drivers so I made those too, using some old brass weights. Unfortunately both local Harbor Freight stores are just out of the presses. Hopefully this weekend they'll get more. Neutral

Having finally acquired the hydro-press from HF, it's easy peasy now!!!

So out with the "old"...

In with the "new" ...

The "old" beam came with a brake booster (which didn't work!) attached to it, so the master cylinder went way back there with a long assed rod to reach it from the pedal. So I had to install the master back it it's original place which requires a whole new configuration for the brake lines as well as the fluid supply line.

Here you can see the hacking needed to make this "late" beam fit in the tight area of the split bus.

I guess the same as the last 5 years? Leave at noon Friday from Vicky's?? Unless we meet somewhere else...

I don't know of any event going on for Friday this year. If anybody does, please post.

Bug Jam weekend has turned into a "camping" weekend so the "event" is to stay at the campsites. I could care less about stinkfooting that weekend so I will continue to stay at the hotel we've stayed at the past years.

A friend of mine opened a Cuban restaurant about 5 miles from the hotel???

Sure hope so! It's basically the same set up but with new stuff! The ball joints will have to "loosen up" a bit as they are tough to turn even without any load on them! Shocked

That's all the work done this past weekend. Still got a few issues to address before I get it rolling again. Hopefully by next weekend! Confused
