I pressed the ignitor button a little too agressively when I was lighting my fridge. Now it does not click. Can the ignitor be replaced without pulling the refrigerator?

You'll probably need to pull the fridge. It's not super difficult though, just takes a bit of time. You can have the thing out in under 30 mins.
To me the gas lines are the worst part since the copper wants to deform when you break the lines free.

This van is new to me. My former van was a weekender so I have no experience with the appliances. I thought the igniter was the button to the right of the air pump. This afternoon I realized the igniter is attached to the air pump actuator. I was able to light it without much effort after figuring that out. What exactly does the button to the right do? Is it supposed to click when depressed?

The button is a safety overide so you can get it to light. Once the fridge is lit, you can release the button and the fridge will stay lit. Release too soon the fridge goes out. It is so if the flame blows out, the van does not fill with propane.

Stated another way... this is the gas supply for the pilot light. You must hold this in while trying to light it. Once it the pilot is lit, keep holding it for another 30 seconds or so and then release it.
