Saw the ad for this place on Craigslist.

May be a good place to work on your van if you do not have a garage or if you want to lift you van to work on the underneath. Not cheap though. _________________ Steve

opening some sort of hobby shop has been bouncing around inside my head for years, I think it's a great idea. _________________ 86 syncro CHC, NorthWesty subbie 2.5, decoupler, locker, custom interior, 225/75r16 Duratrack's on CLK's, Toyo cabin heater, ARB fridge, 300w Zamp Solar, Gowesty bumpers/skid/rails, Fiama awning

One of the things I really enjoyed about the USAF was the on-base auto shops... every tool imaginable, lifts, paintbooths, etc all for free. _________________ '86 Syncro CHC Top AAZ Turbodiesel

Security was not stellar and in my experience they would not be liable for loss, theft or damage . _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |

....bbbut you were already getting screwed by the a.f. much better deal whatever you have to pay at a garage.
I usually rent a lift at a local agricultural diesel shop that has a lift they barely use. They are normally pulling tractors a part, or the trucks they work on are too big to put on a lift. If they need a new headgasket, it's easier to pull the whole cab off some of em then to remove the engine. The shop gets a kick out of my van, and it's pretty cheap for the ease of a lift.
Now the problem is that I want to use the lift for everything, even though I can get er done at home, I almost always wait till I can get lift time. "luxuries once tasted become necessities," so true. _________________ Although I got a funny message from the Porsche guys, it read, "what a mighty ship that you must sail"
