The BAT guys confused things by sort of implying that in their text:

bah not unfortunately it is not original paint. This is the right color but I was forced to completely repaint the exterior Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
when I bought it, the bodywork was redone and the primer had been applied since 2000.
we had everything sanded, repaired some corrosion points. re coatings, paint and finally lightly sand the paint to give it a look in accordance with its age

Here is a super early 59 that we are stripping back to OG paint we will also be repairing any rust damage we find and blending those areas as well. We are also on the hunt for some OG paint SWR parts if any of you have them for sale.

I finally got the drivers side buffed out (as promised back on page eight) and got the rear bumper blade end straightened out too!
