Yeah, we were just silent in protest of you being gone. Now that you're back, we can finally talk Wink

Most of our discussion is in the facebook group now, but this thread is good for people new to the scene in this area that don't know about us.

Glad to have you back bud.

A super great girl has just moved to tampa. To take care of her friend, who has cancer. she left everything behind and really has nothing. If anybody has a vw for cheap or could donate it to her. It would take alot of stress off them. She has had bugs and can work on them. So doesn't need to run.
Please contact her by text if you can help 305 305 8179

Sincerely trebor

Any Labor Day show at Pass-A-Grille this year?

I may have missed a Sponge Docks show. If so, why aren't shows being posted here? I know that Facebook is for the cool kids, but last time that I checked, there were no folks that fitted that profile associated with the NW FL ACVW scene

Sorry Mark, I really forget about this thread until someone bumps it. The facebook group has so much traffic, this thread gets put on the back burner.

Yes, you did miss a sponge docks show, last saturday night.

Yes, there is a labor day show at Pass-A-Grille. Here's the details that I have:

Saturday, August 30at 9:00am - 5:00pm
1501 Gulf Way St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

Thanks Dave - Why don't you do the event organizer a favor and add the event to the Community>Shows listing on this site? (or I can do).

No need to rehash the topic about the folks that have yet to fully embrace social media, but listing on Samba can't hurt to distribute the word. It's not like it costs anything. My family have and will go to the Sponge Docks show, but again, the lack of awareness through this forum is to blame for that.

A good show this past Saturday. I was having "mechanical" issues with my bay window but that didn't stop us from enjoying the event. We left around noon due to the toastiness of the day, but breakfast at the sea horse followed by checking out local rides can't be beat. Good to see this show having some staying power.

Yeah, it was blazing hot. We stuck around until 2, but couldn't take it anymore.

That isn't my favorite show by any means. Too hot, too small, too rough of a road to get to it, really inconvenient location, but I try to support every show in the area.
