Hi there, ive spent the past 3 hours reading various threads and have an idea but im struggling to find a rough idea.

I have a 1960 bug,

I intend to fit air shocks to the front of my beetle (link pin kind)

I want (don't have yet) steelies 4.5/15s on the front with 145/65 15's

I have a 2 inch narrowed beam adjustable.

Now I want to get as low as possible for shows, and with air ride im not bothered about turning clearance as wheels will be straight/static when slammed using air ride. (In other words I wont be driving/turning when at lowest possible height.)

Therefore, how low can I go with this setup without hitting the fenders? If I fit drop spindles will they stick out too far? I also have discs fitted, 5 stud.

Any help would be brilliant! I currently have 5inch wide wheels with a different offset so Im having trouble visualising a steelie wheel setup.

Maybe this will help with your visualization.

Not sure of the set-up but most likely with at least a 4" beam and widened steelies in the rear.
