I to saw part of the stash that he brought to the Rose city bug here in Portland. I enjoyed so much seeing how Karl had organized and labeled his small stuff. So glad help has arrived that is getting it out back in the bus world. Nice work!! I picked up a lot of random stuff that just knowing it was Karl's made me have to get it. Made the show for me. Wish I had more room. Karl's still keeping bay's on the road.

Hey all! I don't know if anyone is waiting for Greg to respond to a PM at the moment but if so, please be patient. He broke his leg last Saturday. Sad

Well that is terrible news about Greg. I am glad he has stepped up to help your family out. Hope you are well Michelle and hopefully Greg heals up quickly. Been there and done that. Takes way too long. Broken bones are a bitch when you are up their in age.

Sorry about the leg and hope you get back in shape again Greg.
And thanks for the heads up Michelle. Was concerned since I had been waiting over 3 weeks for response about needed parts.

Only 3 weeks. I was one of the first to make contact and have been waiting patiently for well over 8 weeks.

Will pray for fast healing.

Please PM me when you get back to the pile Smile

I’m in the 8 week from last PM but I figured he is swamped with e-mails and just dealing with request as best as he can.

Hope you make a full recovery Greg!

Figured I'd bounce this thread back up.

No clue on the situation.

I hope all is well.

The clue is that it's all a dead situation. Time to forget about it.

Wouldn't be so sure.
It's only been 8 weeks since he broke his leg.
How long does that take to heal?

Response, PM replies, topic updates, etc. are done with a keyboard and hands not a leg.

Last reply or update here was in July, 4 months ago.

On the other hand I hope he is doing well.

Has Greg been able to put some parts out from Karls stash to anyone? Its not all Greg - Mr Broken leg its Michelle as well. Id like to know whats been moved out of the "stash" since two years ago.??? Karl had lots of cool useful bits. Im speaking from first hand experience in seeing them in 2011 after Karl passed. Coos Bay is not a weekend jaunt to go to, and if it were you'll need $$$ in hand to liberate the goods. So Im just curious at this point what goods have been liberated with $$?? Greg did come through for me and the mystical poo pails with boxes Cool

Just wondering at this point.

Greg has posted Karl's 67 bus here this month and, I hope he is doing all
he can for Karl's wife & family. but, you need to remember Greg is a Veteran
with most likely an early retirement due to what ever he went through in
whatever conflict
So, don't give up hope on parts from Karl's huge collection of parts.

My last email from Greg was also back in July.

Karl's 67 bus was reposted Nov.9 if you know anyone interested in
buying it.

Greg got a package to me several months ago - blue/green plaid top bed covers...but he hasn't yet answered subsequent communications. Seems like a nice guy doing all he can with whatever spare time he has to help someone out, but no doubt he was inundated with questions and requests.

Greg sent me a bunch of things this summer -- nearly all I had paid for, but missing a few bits. I am being patient that the rest of it comes through, but am not overly optimistic. It was nice of him to help.
