WW now shows them in stock, but a silver and a black. Is one more correct than another for a Gulf Blue? Also, my washer bottle is yellowed and grungy looking. WW shows an NOS bottle but as out of stock. I'm not finding another source. Suggestions?

I was linking to the black nozzle, I think the bottles are NLA!

I could be wrong, but he OG 62 washer nozzle isn't available.
I've been wanting one for mine, I replaced my failed original with one of the generic replacements, but the original is unique in appearance. I still
Have the original for reference.

This is one of three that WW lists for a '62.

Here is a similar one from a 356.

Anyone know when the "frog eye" tear drop was changed to the regular chrome one?

Most parts listings show 61 only NLA, then 62-67 for chrome

Cool, the Stoddard product looks just like the one that came on my 62.
Maybe Santa will drop one in the stocking for me😊

My Feb. '62 has this one. Were there a few different types the same year?

The change from teardrop to frogeye happened when the Wolfsburg crest disappeared and the raised VW emblem happened. The 1961 teardrop has a check valve the 1962/early 1963 does not. The frogeye requires a cloverleaf shaped hole, the teardrop uses a round hole if memory serves correctly... my Nov 62 had the teardrop.

This is the one on my '62. Looks original. Not chrome.
