I disagree, 30 years ago when you bought something from Whitney odds were fairly good it was made in the USA and might actually fit (some drilling required of course ), but as far as the taste of the decor that's very similar. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

I think the image is reversed. When you flip it the address on the mailbox makes more sense. _________________ Central Jersey VW Society

If the photo was reversed the fuel flap would be on that side and the decklid badge and radio antenna would be on the other side as well as the wipers facing the wrong way.
THat looks like a surname on the mailbox, last letters STNE.
Its probably nothing more than someone thought there should be a Karmann badge on both sides. _________________ Quick little bug, you got a Porsche motor in that?

ST NE = Street Northeast. I think this vert has badges both curbside and roadside. |
