cheers!

Volkmar, do you know where I can find more images or info about it? I tried to search at the German forum but found only little info. My wife is totally into getting an LT and I showed her this truck and she said that's our upgrade. Smile

I can't think of a better wildlife camper than an LT with an AAT TDI...

Ed Anderson the guy who created Adventurewagen passed away the other day. Here is a paste from his wife with the new
"...on July 29 Ed suffered a heart attack while in his camper at Hetch Hetchy at 1:00 am. He survived to reach the hospital in Modesto where a cardiologist attempted to open a completely blocked major artery to his heart. Ed went into cardiogenic shock and died quickly during the procedure. He and I spoke just before he went in for his procedure and we expected him to return home the next day. His heart had undergone 10 hours of damage while he waited for the ranger station near him to open and call me. You and all the Adventurewagen owners, VW's and Fords were dear to his heart and he was so proud to call you friends."

Uhhhh.... looks like a Routan to me. Just call VW and tell them your objections.

They don't take my calls anymore.

Some pics of my buddies Reimo syncro 16 inside pics. These things are sweet! The build quality on them is right up there with Westfalia's. I think he is running a 1.6 D in it.

I know this was a old post in this topic, but that box on the engine compartment is a nice idea to add a lot of extra storage.

hi guys. just bought my first vanagon. I didn't exactly choose a syncro hightop, it chose me.
it's a light cosmetic fixer. I should have it up and running soon.
plans are to refurbish the top and interior as new as possible. I will post progress on a thread soon.

Mike

Very slick! An all fiberglass/plastic interior must be easy to keep clean. Laughing

But really, that's pretty nice. Wonder how it all functions, looks like a nice set up. Headroom seems a little cramped though.

just noticed that the "reinforcing" braces that go from side to side are missing,my van has one right behind the drivers head and one above the rear passengers head,I wonder if it is a bit 'wobbly'??
