Post some picks of the head. What kind of flow numbers did you get?

Here is a picture of the single port heads that have been cut to fit 92 mm cylinders or 94 mm cylinders. The chamber edge is now just out to the 92 cylinders and is sealing very well.

Here is the flow numbers at 10” H2O:

Stock single port #311101373A @ 10” H2O, no manifold on or entry plate.

0.050 .100 " .200" .300" .400" .500"
12 CFM 23 CFM 42.5 CFM 48.5 CFM 50 CFM 51.2 CFM

Modified single port @ 10”

12.6 CFM 25 CFM 44 CFM 54 CFM 59 CFM 62.1 CFM

Stock dual port #113101376 with step @10” H20 manifolds or entry mod.

12 CFM 21.5 CFM 43 CFM 54 CFM 64 CFM 68 CFM

The stock heads seem to vary a lot in flow numbers from one to another in S.P. or D.P., some quite good and some are poor flowing. The flow rates are about equal between Mod S.P. and Stock D.P. up to between .300” to .400” lift which is about the maximum that the stock cam can do. That’s probably why the low RPM torque is really crisp with added compression.

Note: the single port stock head I tested was quite good one for air flow which made the modified numbers look not as good as they usually are. That’s the way it goes!

I not trying to argue with the flow bench, these results were just the way it was.
