I'll second the OG Hella Fogs, and safaris (though mine are CE, not OG), and the third brake light( I use an old school bus light w/ the STOP lettering on the lense, it's mounted on the roof rack). But, the shifter extender didn't work for me, it hits the corner of the driver seat( i have a walk/thru) when you go to put it in reverse. The remedy is to turn it to an odd angle that I found awkward. Oh, and I have an ambulance fan. It's fun to have, just because it's sort of "rare", and hardly anyone ever notices it. But, it does VERY little to offset the Texas summer heat! Spend the dough on some safaris!! |

I have safaris. But I think im Goin with Gilmour on a a/c kit he makes with brackets for the 911 fan shroud. I'm kinda passed at the fact that the engine bay won't look as clean but in Florida a/" is kind of mandatory |

Stainless Mesh Headlight Covers - look cool while protecting glass lenses
i really like these. i had some round ones on my 60 baja and saved me a lot on buying new glass. i have some for my fog lights too. my only problem is where do you find the oval ones for under $100? what are they, $2.49 in parts? somebody needs to start making "cheaper" ones, hint, hint... _________________ No more VW's. An old-school Motorola Sapphire IV 6-volt AM-FM radio. Searched for about
35 years before finding one in good operating condition at a nice price. |

For 33 Woodie and pitbug, "VW knowhow" on the Samba did this for me. I think the cost was around 250??? about 7 or 8 years ago. He did a great job on the rebuild and conversion to a trip. Also set the odometer to the same mileage as it was sent in with. If iam not mistaken I think he may have another user name now, maybe Everrett would know for sure? |

x2!! Those would be really useful and look good as well.
I think roof racks are my favourite accessory. I have two sets of ambulance fans; the one in my 63 Dormobile is as good as useless, but the loose one is great because I can admire the fans, which are a work of art! _________________ fig

I guess for me it's the safety things I've had added.
Front and rear brakes. Kinda pricey but well worth the cost to me for my life which they have saved many times with all the nutbars on the road here in Cali.
Next Rear stop light.
Front fog-light Helps too. I use it as a daytime running light.

Just held on with a few zip ties.
A little overboard perhaps, but nobody's come close to hitting me since I installed them.
