I've got access to a printer, but I'm not sure about the part you're talking about. Got a link? _________________ 86 Vanagon Wolfsburg/Weekender |

I found some images with dimensions. I can try and design something in the next week or so and see about 3d printing them up. _________________ 86 Vanagon Wolfsburg/Weekender |

Looks like van-cafe got some reproduction guides too. Good if you plan to order stuff from them. _________________ 1980 2.8LV6 Fiero ASI/Riviera Vanagon

price is higher because one guy took initiative and recreates them in small batch process in his garage/basement/shop.
not a large order mass produced by a big plastics company for a world market car manufacturer.
be happy you don't have to carve them from plastic strips on your table saw keeping all 8 fingers with your 2 thumbs. you can order these while buying other incidentals for your 25+ yr old van through a specialized reseller who puts cookies in the shipping box. _________________

I fully understand the cost and time involved in creating and manufacturing a repro part, I was just stating a fact about the cost increase!
I have a set that I bought years ago from Rocky Mountain Motorworks in my parts stash.... _________________ 1983 Air Cooled Westy (Shaniqua) |

Why bring it up that you still have some and then complain about the cost increase? Let the dude fill a void that others are not able/willing too without griping about it. _________________ Don't harsh my mellow...

Once again, I was just stating a fact.... I respect Rocky and the work he has put into manufacturing a product for our vehicles!
