Should front euro bumper guards be smaller than the rear or are they the same size all round?

I have the 57-62 type and they're not all the same size.

Yes there are differences depending on year but I was under the impression within those years they are identical size front to back.

Those chromed cast aluminum ones used between 1/57 and 7/62 seem to have been sourced from different subcontractors, or, at least, from different casts (hence size) over the years. However, they should all be four of the same size on a car, two "rights" and two "lefts".

But, the first style euro bumper guards (used till may 56) are all different. The front left is not the same as the rear right.

In the third style there are wides (the early ones) and less wide (later). In the picture of technic you can clearly see the differences.

Technic, , Are you looking for a small or a wide one?

Regards
Patrick

I have at least one that I got rechromed long ago, I have to find it and work out if it matches what you need.

I wonder if John would be opossed to a "I need one of these" sticky thread? The WTB thread is fine but a thread specifically under the Ghia forum would help all of us....Just a thought....

Personally I think making a Sticky is the best way to get something ignored. Better to make a simple WTD ad in the Ghia Classifieds. You'd be surprised how often this gets results. Others searching for bumper parts etc. will find your ad and they might have what you want whilst searching for other parts themselves.
