Yay! the money shot!
Nice work, I guess only time will tell if they prove useful enough to justify the time spent, I can't see why they won't.

BTW you have a middle trim on the slider rail cover Wink

I may attempt this myself soon. Gotta find some donor sliders first. I have two, need two more just for backup.

thanks again cdennisg

yeah you really need 2 to make one. i have some "rail" left over from the bottom of my donor slider, it has the drain slots in it but PM me if your interested, might be good even for just a practice bend

Thanks Busdaddy, long time coming. now that its all over, there's very little to work on in the basement. i guess i'll just clean spare parts endlessly Neutral

i'm sure the driver side slider will get used lots - it doubled as an ashtray last year with a vent window, but those vents were a hassle. it gets hot in the summer, so if nobodies riding with me, I'll go back there and slide them open myself Razz ALSO - another big plus is that now every window looks the same, the passenger side looked a little wack with the one original window and old chrome trim and lame-o tint job

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

yeah that trim is too short huh! the old one on there was bee-eeaat, so i picked up another section, but obviously wrong. i'm sure one will turn up if i'm patient!

Possibly, but my bus is different now, and I may not need them. Nice to know they are readily available, though. I just have a hard time spending more on that window than I would on a 3 x 5 window for my kitchen.
