Where do these brackets go? One is slightly shorter then the other.

Are those walk-through seat stand wraparounds between the panels and the rubber mats?

Looks like it...seen in the pic below. Ignore the green lines, but you can see that channel just below the top green line.

Yes indeed, those are the trim pieces for the walk-thru as shown in the photo. The long piece is for the driver's side, short for the passenger. They should be polished (looks like they're covered with paint) and they mount with the U-channel facing downward as that's what holds the rubber around the pedestal base. They are also used to secure the bottom of the pedestal vinyl so if you plan to restore the pedestals to stock and add vinyl covered panels and vinyl over the side metal, do not mount these strips until you mount the vinyl. The strips mount over the bottom of the vinyl, pinching the material between the channel and the metal, then rivets are applied to hold them on.
